20.45: Manchester United hero Teddy Sheringham believes Marcus Rashford must leave the Red Devils to fulfil his potential.
Sheringham believes there is no doubting the ability of Rashford but claims he just needs regular game time.
âIf you donât get the experience, you donât get the chance,â he told Sky Sports.
âAll you do is sit and watch and you make mistakes later in life.
âHe needs to learn now, heâs an unbelievable talent for me, and he needs to be playing in a first-team somewhere.â
20:00: Goalkeeper Scott Bain has signed for Celtic on a permanent four-year deal.
The 26-year-old had been on loan from Dundee since January and Brendan Rodgers recently expressed his desire to bring him in full-time.
âIâm delighted. Itâs more than I obviously expected when I first came in. Iâm over the moon,â Bain said.
âI donât think it could have gone any better. Itâs funny, thereâs a lot of little things that went my way to get to Celtic on loan and then to play the game against Rangers, which sent me on my way to this four-year-deal. Itâs been great and Iâve loved every minute of it.â
18.30: Rangers boss Steven Gerrard will attract new signings to the club because of who he is, claims Terry Butcher.
Butcher believes if given enough funds, former England captain Gerrard can bring a higher quality of player to Ibrox.
âHe needs funds available and getting the right players to come in,â he told Sky Sports.
âBut players are going to sign for Steven Gerrard now, heâs Rangers manager.
âYouâre going to go to Scotland because itâs Steven Gerrard whoâs the manager, rather than someone else where you think âIâm not too sureâ.â
16.45: Nabil Fekir did not meet with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp to discuss a potential transfer, the Lyon starâs father claims.
Reports this week claimed the 24-year-old had agreed a deal with the Reds to head to Anfield next summer.
However, Fekirâs father Mohamed has slammed reports heâs heading to Liverpool, claiming the France international is going nowhere.
âNabil in Liverpool, thatâs wrong,â he told Olympique-et-lyonnais.com. âI hear there are arrangements, stuff like that, I was surprised.
âI can deny this information right now, itâs not true.
âOtherwise, Nabil would have told me right away, we are very close. I can guarantee you that he never met him [Klopp].â
16.35: Arsenalâs next manager will have a big rebuilding job on his hands because the majority of the current squad are not good enough, says Steve Nicol.
Nicol believes there are only a few players in the Arsenal squad who would make the starting XI of their rivals.
âWhoever comes in is going to have to start again,â the Liverpool legend said on ESPN FC.
âThere are very few of these players that would get anywhere near any of the decent teams – not just in England but anywhere else.â
15.40: Chelsea will not be able to turn down approaches from either Barcelona or Real Madrid if they want to sign Eden Hazard this summer, says Tony Cottee.
Cottee believes 27-year-old Hazard is now in the prime of his career and must decide if he sees his future elsewhere.
âI think it will be the playerâs decision. I know heâs on a contract but that doesnât really mean anything,â the pundit said on Sky Sports.
âHe will want to go away, heâll want to perform for Belgium at the World Cup, heâll want to know who the next Chelsea manager is or is the current manager staying, then heâll make his decision.
âItâs a big, big decision for Hazard and history has proved if Barcelona or Real Madrid come in for you, itâs like (Philippe) Coutinho, thereâs only going to be one winner and they will move to another club.â
13:45: Wayne Rooney has reportedly agreed a deal in principle that could see him leave Everton for Major League Soccer side DC United this summer.
Sky Sports claim a deal was drafted over the past seven weeks, during several visits to the States by Rooneyâs agent Paul Stretford alongside DC United’s Chief Executive Jason Levein.
DC United will pay ÂŁ12m for his signature with a deal running until the end of the MLS season in 2020.
12:50: John W. Henry has reassured Liverpool fans that Jurgen Klopp will have money to spend over the summer.
“[Fans] will never stop worrying about whoâs coming, whoâs potentially coming, whoâs going,” Henry told BBC Sport.
“What I can say is, we realise that any team who goes deep in the Champions League and the Premier League has a difficult time in the Premier League.
“You have to focus your attention where you can and try to keep your players healthy playing twice a week often.
“But weâre looking forward to next season as well. We always invest in the squad every summer.”
11:20: Mourinho wants Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford to stay at Manchester United for next season.
Pogba has been linked with a big-money move to PSG while his agent Mino Raiola offered him to Manchester City.
But Mourinho said: âI think he’s going to be here next season.
“I can give the guarantee that I don’t want him to leave. I can give you the guarantee that the club doesn’t want to sell him and I can give you the guarantee that we don’t have any approach from him, from his agent or from any club.
“So, in this moment, for me, he’s staying.”
Asked whether he could be set for a loan move, Mourinho replied: âNo. What does he need to do to impress me? He impresses me.â
10:40: Ross Barkley has been at Chelsea for months – but it appears everyone has forgotten!
For Barkley has made just one start for Chelsea this season – he lasted just 54 minutes – while he has bene an unused sub in the last seven straight games.
âYou are excused if like me you forgot that Ross Barkley signed for Chelsea this season,â wrote one while another asked: âIs Ross Barkley still a thing?â
âRoss Barkley is on the bench for Chelsea – forgot he existed to be honest! What a waste of talent,â added a fellow fan.
Another quipped: âEvery single time I see a Chelsea bench, I remember that Ross Barkley exists.â
09:30: Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is being urged to leave Anfield and join Real Madrid this summer.
Egypt legend Hanzy Ramzy says the winger might not have the chance to head to the Bernabeu if he waits.
âI think he makes history for an Egyptian player and this is very important,â Ramzy told ESPN FC. âAlso that all the world can see that Egypt has talent.
âAnd about the question if it is better for Salah to stay at Liverpool or transfer himself to another league, I think all the media are talking about Real Madrid or Barcelona.â
09:00: Itâs being claimed in Spain that Jurgen Klopp has met with Nabil Fekir to discuss a summer switch to Liverpool.
According to French outlet Canal Plus, Klopp has spoken to Fekir to try and convince him to snub Chelsea to move to Anfield.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas remains adamant the forward is going nowhere, however.
He said on Sunday: âWe have had no contact with Liverpool today.
âNabil Fekir is here. We hope to keep him and have him playing the Champions League with us next year.â

The France international has still been talked up as a potential Liverpool target, with Jurgen Klopp pouring fuel on the fire.
“Oh, is he [Dembele] on the market? Now Iâm interested!â said Klopp after last weekendâs 1-0 defeat to Chelsea.
Valverde suggested Barcelona believe Dembele will be around for years to come though after his impressive performance against Villarreal on Wednesday night.
“Dembele had a great game,” said Valverde after Barcelona’s 5-1 win. “Heâs a very talented player indeed.
“His last goal was lovely. We are expecting big things from him.
“Heâs still very young and has a long time ahead to show his class. All new players need some time to adapt.”

Wilshere missed out on the Gunners’ 3-1 defeat at Leicester due to his wife going into labour.
And after the game, Wenger said: “He was with us, he had to go back because his wife was induced.
“For the rest I give him only one advice, stay at the club. The noises I have is that he will do it, but I donât know how close he is to signing the contract or not.
“But the noises are positive, so I hope that will be concluded very quickly, that he can go to the World Cup with England and win the World Cup.”
