Wayne Rooney on Anthony Martial
Former Manchester United star Wayne Rooney believes Anthony Martial has the potential to be one of the best players in the Premier League.
The talented 22-year-old has been linked with mega-money moves away from Old Trafford with Tottenham and Chelsea linked with his services.
But Rooney believes selling the Frenchman would come back to haunt Jose Mourinhoâs side.
âI think Martial, ability-wise, is incredible,â Rooney told talkSPORTâs Alan Brazil. âBut I think itâs how do you get the best out of him?
âKnowing Anthony the way I know him I think if you can get the best out of him, heâs up there ability-wise with the best in the league.
âI think sometimes it is difficult to get to know him as a person, as a character because of the way he is. But I think once you do get to know him, you just keep him happy.â

Gonzalo Higuain claims
Chelsea transfer target Gonzalo Higuain will move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Thatâs according to Italian agent Enrico Fedele, who also claims Maurizio Sarri has lodged a bid for goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
Juventus striker Higuain has been touted as a replacement for Alvaro Morata, who experienced a stop-start first season at Chelsea.
Reina, meanwhile, has been linked with a bargain move from AC Milan with current Blues No 1 Thibaut Courtois set to head to Real Madrid.
Fedele has now made claims about Higuain and Reina when discussing Milanâs plans for the summer on RMC Sport.
“Certainly a player will be sacrificed for [Leonardo] and for Reina, Sarri he has made a âŹ6m bid,” said Fedele, when asked about Leonardo rejoining Milan as sporting director.
“If [Gianluigi] Donnarumma remains, Reina goes and also [Leonardo] Bonucci. In attack I think Morata will arrive while Higuain I think I can go to Chelsea.”

The Sun claim Sarr, 20, is now being tracked by Arsenal, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool with some sending scouts to monitor his progress.
âHe is very fast with an excellent technique,â Thierno Seydi, Sarrâs agent, told SunSport. âHe has the same qualities as Ousmane Dembele of Barcelona. They are similar players.
âI have received many calls from English and German clubs and maybe even one from Italy. Domagoj Vida OFF
West Ham have reportedly denied any interest in signing Domagoj Vida, but they do have plans to do more business this summer.
There had been reports over the weekend indicating the Hammers could be looking to further strengthen their options with a supposed ÂŁ20million bid for Croatiaâs World Cup star Vida.
It was suggested Besiktas had rejected a bid from West Ham as they are holding out for between ÂŁ22m and ÂŁ23m.
However, West Ham news site Claret And Hugh claim the club have no interest in signing Vida as they are happy with their current defensive options.
Instead, the report states the Hammers are focussed on bringing in more attacking reinforcements.
A source told Claret and Hugh: âWe have reinforced at the back but it is clear that with Andy Carroll injured we need to take a look at that situation. We want to bring in another striker and will be working hard on that over the next weeks before the window closes.â

Liverpool and Arsenal reportedly face fresh competition in the race to sign Diogo Leite.
Leite has emerged as one of Europeâs hottest prospects since breaking onto the scene with Porto B.
And his performances in the UEFA Youth League last season turned the heads of scouts from a cluster of Premier League big boys.
German magazine Kicker indicate Liverpool have set their sights on Leite as they look to continue their summer spending.
While Arsenal, as well as Manchester City, have shown interest in prising him away from Porto ahead of the oncoming season too.
Buying Leite from Porto will not come at a considerable cost due to the relatively modest ÂŁ13.4m (âŹ15m) release clause written into his contract.
However, Liverpool, Arsenal and City have now seen another side enter the fray to secure the highly-rated 19-year-oldâs signature.
Kicker have followed up claims that Borussia Monchengladbach are keen on Leite and confirmed the Bundesliga outfitâs desire to get him on-board.
