Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are not âon the rocks,â despite a new story repeating the debunked claim that theyâve called off their wedding amid a âshocking split.â Gossip Cop can once again set the record straight. The couple is still together, and happily so.
According to the misinformed RadarOnline, Cyrus and Hemsworthâs ârelationship is on the rocks as sheâs been staying with her parents.â The site claims the pop star ârecently moved out of the Malibu mansion that she once sharedâ with Hemsworth, and is now âspending more and more time at her parentsâ Billy Ray and Tishâs house.â A so-called âsourceâ is quoted as saying, âMiley said she needed some space. She and Liam arenât on the best terms.â
The site, however, offers no evidence to back these assertions up. Itâs not even said at which of her parentsâ homes Cyrus is supposedly staying. Instead, the blog refers back to its article from earlier this month, in which it wrongly alleged Cyrus and Hemsworth have âsplit for the second time.â Quoting from that piece, which Gossip Cop busted, the outlet cites a purported âinsider,â who contends, âTheyâve been hanging by a thread for months. Now theyâre as good as broken up and there will be no wedding.â
When that tall tale originally came out two weeks ago, Gossip Cop presented evidence that they werenât âbroken upâ at all. And now thereâs even more proof that there hasnât been a âsplit,â despite what the website again alleges in this latest piece. For starters, a video circulating on Twitter shows Hemsworth and Cyrus at an airport in Nashville together just last week. Hours after that emerged, Hemsworth himself posted a video in which he jokingly scared Cyrus as they jammed out to music in the car.
Meanwhile, as opposed to being âon the rocks,â E! Online has reported Hemsworth and Cyrus are in a âgreat place,â noting, âThey have been spending a lot of their time being low-key in Nashville lately, and come home to Malibu often to spend time with family.â âEntertainment Tonightâ also reports that Cyrus âcouldnât be happierâ with Hemsworth. It was even revealed that the singer âdoes want people to know that any speculation that a breakup is about to happen is wrong,â and it was further stressed that âthey both agree they are in it for the long run.â
Additionally, both publications confirm that a wedding isnât âoff,â but explain that the couple remains in no ârushâ to officially tie the knot. On top of all that, Us Weekly also has a report about Cyrus gearing up to release new music, in which itâs reported, âShe and Liam thought it was half-funny, half-ridiculous that people thought they split.â
Conclusion: RadarOnline has claimed twice this month that Cyrus and Hemsworth have split, but there is visual evidence, including some directly from the actor himself, that the couple is still together. And while the site maintains the stars are âon the rocks,â that contradicts reporting from multiple trustworthy outlets. In contrast, this blog, which peddled misinformation about Cyrus and Hemsworth fighting over a prenup in 2016, has proven it isnât credible when it comes to the pair.
