Dhadak is running successfully in theatres. The romantic drama has earned Rs Rs 63.38 crore at the domestic box office, which is a feat. We met up with the principal cast, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, and director, Shashank Khaitan to discuss the movie and its success. Shashank said, “Slap scene is very important part of Sairat. I am not a propagator of violence against women. I am someone who has condemned it very deeply in real life,” He further added that it was important to stay true to the character at the point of time in the story.
