Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie never got back together following their 2016 split, but if one were to believe the tabloids, the exes have reconciled several times throughout their divorce. Of course, this has never been the case. Here are five recent wrong rumors about the estranged spouses supposedly reuniting.

Just last month, Globe published a bogus report claiming Pitt and Jolie were calling off their divorce and rebuilding their family. It was alleged that a so-called “sizzling reunion between the sheets” was what convinced the two to get back together. Only, it was reported that same week by reputable publications such as E! News that Pitt and Jolie were “at odds over custody.” As opposed to reigniting a love affair, the exes were actually in disagreement over how to split time between their kids over the summer. That situation has since been resolved.

In December 2017, Gossip Cop busted RadarOnline for falsely claiming that Pitt and Jolie were getting back together for Christmas. It was said that the holidays made them “sentimental about family,” so they decided to reunite. Of course, the exes never celebrated Christmas 2017 together with their kids, nor did they romantically reconcile. As Gossip Cop rightly said at the time, their holidays plans were negotiated by a judge, who worked out a schedule for the pair.

Gossip Cop debunked a Naughty Gossip article in November claiming that Pitt and Jolie were slowly resuming their marriage. It was alleged that the two were seeing each other once a week and chatting on the phone several times a day. But shortly later, it was widely reported that Pitt and Jolie were continuing private talks to settle their divorce.

Gossip Cop called out OK! in September 2017 for publishing a fabricated cover story saying Pitt had moved back in with Jolie. The phony article included a section about the exes’ kids waking up to find their dad cooking pancakes. Every aspect of the story was made-up. Earlier this year, in fact, “Entertainment Tonight” revealed a few details about what goes on when Pitt’s kids visit his home.

And finally, Us Weekly published an inaccurate cover story in August 2017 contending that Pitt and Jolie had called off their divorce. The article said the two weren’t officially a couple again, but had decided not to move forward with divorce proceedings. But while it’s true their divorce has yet to be finalized, it’s was widely reported earlier this year that Pitt and Jolie were still working out their divorce settlement. That remains the case. In any event, every one of these false stories about the exes getting back together has been disproven by the passage of time.
